I am the wife of a disabled veteran & I know from experience it is not easy to cope with the things he has to deal with on a daily basis. I love my husband more than ever & 35 years together has helped me to sense some of the burdens but don't ever say you know how he feels.We will never know what they go thru mentally. Sometimes they just need an ear or a sounding board.Not more advice, they get enough of that already. One place to get financial help is Human Resources for your area . Ask for a resource list & it will have orginizations listed;name, phone #; help available; ect.I will log back later & help anyone I can since we had to have help for 2 years & never lost our house, never went hungry or cold & kept our family together too.
